We are a small documentation consultancy in Burari, Delhi. We prepare, file and follow up Government paperwork for people across India, and we tell you plainly when the job is not ours to sell.
Documentadvisor is a private documentation consultancy based in Burari, Delhi. We handle gazette name change, certificates, identity updates, property deeds, wills, agreements and business registration across India. We are not a Government body and not a law firm, and our fee is always quoted separately from the Government fee.
Most Government paperwork in India is not difficult. It is confusing. The form exists, the office exists and the fee exists, but people lose weeks because nobody told them which of three offices actually handles their case, or which document has to be fixed first. That gap is the whole business.
We are a small desk, not a call centre. The person who answers your first message is the person who prepares your file, and the same person is still on it when the document comes back. That is deliberate, because handing a case between people is where details get lost.

What we actually do
Preparing documents, filing them at the right office, and chasing them until they move.
Our busiest service is the gazette name change. It runs on three steps: a notarised affidavit, a notice in two newspapers, and the notification itself, published in Part IV of the Gazette of India. The Government fee for that is paid only through BharatKosh, the Non-Tax Receipt Portal, and the file goes to the Department of Publication at Civil Lines, Delhi 110054. There is exactly one such office in the country, which is worth knowing because several websites publish a fake local address with that same pin code.
Around that sit the jobs that follow a name change and the ones that have nothing to do with it: Aadhaar and PAN updates, passport re-issue, birth and marriage certificates, caste and domicile certificates, property deeds and rent agreements, wills and succession papers, affidavits, legal notices, and company or GST registration. Whatever the job, the work is the same shape. Draft the right document, get your written confirmation of every detail, file it at the office that actually has the power to act, and follow it up until it is done. Most of the value is in that third part, knowing which office it is.
Four things we do on every file
These are not slogans. They are the four places this business usually goes wrong.
Two numbers, never one
Our service fee and the Government fee are always quoted as separate lines, in writing, before anything starts. A single blended price hides how much actually reaches the Government, and that is usually the point of blending it.
Your written yes, first
We send you the exact wording, letter by letter, and wait. Nothing is printed, notarised or filed until you confirm it. Gazette fees are non-refundable, so a single wrong letter costs the whole fee again.
One advisor, start to finish
The person who answers your first message prepares your file and is still on it at the end, on the same number. You never re-explain your case to someone new.
Your papers stay yours
Scans go to one advisor and one file, used only for your application. Originals come back once the file is accepted. We do not resell details and we do not run marketing lists.
What we refuse to sell
The quickest way to understand a documentation firm is to ask what it turns down.

| A gazette can fix a birth certificate | It cannot. That is a Registrar correction under Section 15 of the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969, at the municipal body that issued it. We do that work, at the correct office and the correct price. |
| Paying more makes it faster | It does not. Gazette publication commonly takes 30 to 45 days and registration offices run on their own calendar. Anyone promising to jump that queue is describing something else. |
| An agent can guarantee the outcome | Nobody can. We can guarantee the file is correct and complete. The decision belongs to the Government office, and we say so before you pay. |
| A cheap quote is a better deal | Often it is a State Gazette sold as a Central one, or an affidavit sold as a gazette. Ask any provider which gazette, and whether the Government fee is included. |
| We handle court matters | We do not. We are not a law firm and we do not appear for anyone. Where a case needs an advocate, we say so and stop. |
| Reviews and ratings prove quality | They are trivially faked in this industry. We publish no star ratings and no named testimonials, because we cannot verify them for you. |

The desk is in Delhi. The filing is nationwide, and you do not need to be anywhere near us.
Central Gazette work is filed in Delhi whatever your state. A few steps are unavoidably local, such as a sub-registrar appointment, and we say which part that is before you commit.
